Another day at work, another House bill passed that Missourians need now…
mandating drug testing predominantly for poor single mothers in southern Missouri in a specific government program.
Oh yes, it was amended to include drug testing for all state elected officials which include many judges.
I was beginning to wonder when we would get around to addressing all of us who take drugs illegally. And when would we start to address the real problems of poor single mothers – like perhaps jobs, childcare assistance or even healthcare access?
Is my sarcasm showing all ready in my sixth week on the job?
