Time for Re-Election…Already!

Even though the 2010 legislative session has adjourned, you won’t find me resting and lollygagging around…

I am running for re-election in the Democratic primary August 3.  Even though you JUST elected me this past November, I am on the ballot for the next two year term.

This past session I took the lead on the floor to fight the voter ID bill sponsored by Rep. John Diehl (R-Town and Country) which would prevent the elderly and disadvantaged from being able to vote, argued loud against bills which would allow pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions and worked for equality and justice in the workplace and housing.

I NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO KEEP DOING THE WORK I’VE BEGUN.

With your help  – contributions and/or volunteer time – you can send me back to the Capitol to continue using my voice for you.

I’ve begun door knocking throughout the district and updating voters on the past legislative session and hearing their concerns.  I love this part of the job.  Come with me one afternoon and experience some great neighborhoods that you may not be familiar with in the district.

With your help, I will continue using my voice to stand up against far-right extremism.
